HVAC Maintenance Technician | 6+ months HVAC Experience Required

Hammond Services is seeking motivated HVAC Maintenance Technicians with at least 6 months of hands-on HVAC experience who are ready to grow with a company that values hard work, training, and long-term career development. In this role, you'll perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, and tune-ups on residential and light commercial HVAC systems while continuing to develop your technical skills through ongoing training and mentorship. This position is ideal for technicians who already have some field experience and are ready to take the next step in their career.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on HVAC field experience required.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and HVAC tune-ups.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (minimum driving age of 22).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication, professionalism, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to continue learning and advance within the company.
- Ability to work overtime as needed during peak seasons.
Nice To Haves
- EPA Certification (Type I, II, III, or Universal) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Complete seasonal tune-ups and system inspections.
- Identify maintenance concerns and recommend necessary repairs.
- Accurately document work performed using company software.
- Communicate professionally with customers while providing outstanding service.
- Work safely and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and management to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
