About The Position
We are looking for an HVAC Lead Project Technician to oversee HVAC projects from planning through completion in Richmond, VA. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC and mechanical, with strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Excel and project management tools.
- A valid state-issued driver's license (travel to job sites required)
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, Business, or a related field
- Supervisory experience in a project-oriented environment
- Familiarity with mechanical systems (chillers, boilers, building controls)
- PMP or CPM certification
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project schedules, submittals, and documentation.
- Oversee project financials, including cost controls and change orders.
- Coordinate with estimators for large-scale changes; handle smaller change orders independently.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Utilize project management software (QuickBase, Procore, or similar) for tracking and reporting.
