Champion AC & Plumbing is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Lead Installer to join their growing team in Austin, Texas. This role involves leading and overseeing HVAC installation projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and training team members. The company has over 40 years of combined experience serving Austin and surrounding areas with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. They are looking for professionals passionate about improving the community.
Requirements
- EPA Certification (Required).
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in HVAC installation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Train and mentor installation team members to ensure quality workmanship.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, and inventory usage.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide outstanding service and answer any questions.
