About The Position
Bolls Heating & Cooling, now an Ace Hardware Home Services Company, is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer. Since 1948, Bolls Heating & Cooling has been a trusted provider of furnace and air conditioner repairs, installations, and maintenance services in Indianapolis. Ace Hardware Home Services is dedicated to being the best, most trusted provider of home preservation services, offering a wide range of residential maintenance and repair services with signature Ace Helpful service. This role involves independently managing HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all standards and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3-5 Years Residential HVAC installation experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading installation projects and mentoring less experienced technicians.
- Advanced knowledge of duct design, airflow, refrigerant systems, gas piping, and HVAC system performance.
- EPA Universal Certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
- Install HVAC related equipment, including gas lines used in a residential and light commercial setting, successfully without supervision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field with minimal management support.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, local codes, company standards, and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs of all work performed.
- Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers.
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required.
