About The Position

On The Way Heating & Air is seeking experienced HVAC installers and lead installers to perform complete residential air-conditioning installations from start to finish at a top professional standard. We are looking for skilled individuals who can produce quality work, pass inspections, avoid callbacks, and represent the company professionally. Top producers have the potential to earn $130,000–$300,000+ per year, with opportunities for advancement based on production, skill, leadership, and results.

Requirements

Proven residential HVAC installation experience.
Ability to complete a full installation or lead a crew.
EPA 608 certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong understanding of ductwork, airflow, refrigerant systems, condensate, electrical, and IAQ.
Ability to work in Florida attics, tight spaces, heat, and demanding jobsite conditions.
Must be able to provide photos of your own completed HVAC installations.

Responsibilities

Perform complete split-system AC and heat-pump system installations.
Install air handlers, package units, and attic systems.
Install ductwork, plenums, transitions, boots, returns, and supply runs.
Install refrigerant piping, including brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and charging.
Install condensate drains, secondary pans, float switches, and safety controls.
Complete electrical connections, disconnects, thermostats, and low-voltage controls.
Install indoor-air-quality equipment, including media filters, UV lights, air cleaners, and dehumidifiers.
Install equipment stands, platforms, line sets, insulation, and ensure service access.
Ensure all installations are safe, clean, properly supported, correctly sealed, serviceable, documented, and completed according to code and manufacturer requirements.
Take ownership of installations and perform work correctly the first time.
