HVAC - Install Technician

About The Position

This role involves working closely with the Installation department to ensure timely and accurate HVAC installations according to company standards. The technician will provide excellent customer service by analyzing work orders, following schedules, addressing customer concerns, performing installations, and proactively solving problems. Key responsibilities include requesting necessary parts and equipment in advance, ensuring the truck is properly loaded, documenting work performed, maintaining knowledge of HVAC codes and standards, and upholding professional conduct and appearance. The position also includes other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

Basic HVAC knowledge
Must pass motor vehicle, background check and drug screen
Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Installation department and any others necessary to provide timely and accurate installation in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Provide excellent customer service.
Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedule, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems.
For each installation job, request necessary parts & equipment needed in advance and verify truck is properly loaded with all materials needed to complete it.
Document work performed in accordance with company procedure.
Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.
