About The Position
The HVAC Install Manager oversees residential and/or commercial HVAC installation operations. This role manages installation teams, schedules projects, ensures quality workmanship, maintains customer satisfaction, and supports company revenue and efficiency goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of previous leadership or management experience in HVAC
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and installation practices
- Understanding of local mechanical codes and permits
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Manage daily HVAC installation operations and installation crews
- Schedule and coordinate installation jobs efficiently
- Monitor quality control and ensure installations meet code and company standards
- Train, coach, and develop installers and lead technicians
- Conduct job site inspections and safety audits
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
- Review completed jobs for accuracy, permits, and documentation
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and service departments
- Manager labor costs, productivity, and installation performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations
- Assist with hiring and onboarding installation staff
- Maintain inventory and equipment accountability
- Support revenue growth through operational efficiency and upsell opportunities
