About The Position

HELP is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Lead Technician to lead residential HVAC change-outs and complete high-quality installations with minimal supervision. This is described as a long-term opportunity with consistent, year-round residential installation work. The technician will install heating and air conditioning equipment and other products according to company requirements and manufacturer specifications, guide less experienced apprentices, and provide professional service to homeowners. Compensation is hourly plus spiffs, with an annual earning potential of up to $140,000; the stated pay range is $80,000–$140,000.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a lead in residential HVAC installation.
Proficiency in HVAC functional design and ductwork system installation.
Demonstrated ability to build and transition ductwork and install indoor and outdoor units.
Ability to lead and coach apprentices on projects.
Strong knowledge of safety, tools, testing devices, and surroundings.
EPA 2 Certification required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, which must be maintained.

Nice To Haves

EPA Universal Certification is preferred.
NATE certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of yourself and team members.
