About The Position

SwiftPro Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is hiring a full-time, year-round HVAC Install Helper in Chantilly, Virginia. The company provides on-the-job training for people without HVAC experience, with the opportunity to develop into an installer and potentially lead crews. Pay is $22–$28 per hour based on experience, paid weekly, with overtime at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours over 40. The role includes a company truck and gear, performance bonuses, benefits, paid time off, and six paid holidays. The helper works alongside a lead installer on residential heating and cooling installations. The work involves handling equipment and materials, learning installation tasks hands-on, and protecting customers’ homes. Requirements

0–2 years of experience; HVAC, construction, warehouse, or other hands-on work counts.
Be reliable, punctual, and coachable.
Able to lift 75+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

EPA 608 certification or HVAC trade school; neither is required, and the company will help the employee get certified.

Responsibilities

Work alongside a lead installer replacing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits.
Carry and haul out equipment, and load and unload the truck.
Learn ductwork, brazing, wiring, and system start-up hands-on.
Protect the customer's home and leave every job cleaner than you found it.
