About The Position

J&A Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing, and Electrical is looking for a HVAC Install Helper who is confident and takes pride in quality work. This role involves working closely with the Installation department to provide timely and accurate installations in accordance with company standards and procedures. The helper will serve customers by analyzing work orders, following schedules, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems. Responsibilities include requesting necessary parts and equipment in advance, verifying truck loading, documenting work performed, maintaining knowledge of HVAC codes and standards, and maintaining professional conduct and appearance.

Requirements

Basic HVAC Knowledge
Must pass motor vehicle, background check and drug screen.
Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
Physical dexterity

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Installation department and any others necessary to provide timely and accurate installation in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Provide excellent customer service.
Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedule, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems.
For each installation job, request necessary parts & equipment needed in advance and verify truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete it.
Document work performed in accordance with company procedure.
Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.
