About The Position

Kemco Facilities Services is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC systems throughout the Southaven market and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate has strong commercial HVAC troubleshooting experience and is comfortable working independently in the field. This position requires a technician who can accurately diagnose system issues, complete repairs efficiently, communicate professionally with customers, and deliver high-quality service. Experience with refrigeration, electrical troubleshooting, commercial kitchen equipment, or other facility maintenance trades is a plus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years of commercial HVAC service and repair experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial heating and cooling systems, components, controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to diagnose HVAC system failures and complete repairs independently.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and controls related to HVAC equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
  • Must successfully complete a satisfactory background screening.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC technical or vocational training preferred.
  • EPA Section 608 certification preferred.
  • Commercial refrigeration experience is a plus.
  • Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, or other facility maintenance trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Identify mechanical and electrical problems and determine the appropriate repair solution.
  • Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, testing, and maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical components associated with HVAC equipment, including controls, motors, contactors, relays, and related systems.
  • Evaluate equipment operation and make repairs or recommendations to improve reliability and performance.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions, repairs, recommendations, and job status.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable industry standards during all service and repair work.
  • Accurately document work performed, materials and parts used, equipment conditions, and recommended repairs.
  • Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, vehicle, and commonly used service parts.
  • Complete repairs professionally and efficiently while minimizing disruption to customer operations.
