Requirements
- High school diploma or GED. Experience may be substituted for education.
- Prior HVAC installation experience
- Ability to read installation plans/documents
- Maintains and cleans work area upon completion
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Beginner computing skills and able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required
Nice To Haves
- HVAC trade school certification
- 1-2 years’ experience in construction, HVAC or related experience
- EPA Certification
- Willingness to learn and be a part of a team
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers, both internal and external
- Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Safety mindset and acceptance of a safety culture
Responsibilities
- Completes final-stage of HVAC installations in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications
- Installation of Registers, Grills, Fans, Thermostat, AC and accessories.
- Connect system components, Wire-up, Leak check, and Charge .
- Performs system start-up and ensures proper operation of heating and cooling systems
- Verifies system performance and completes final adjustments
- Ensures all installations are clean, complete, and meet quality standard
- Identifies and resolves minor installation issues during final phase
- Working in an outdoor environment and adverse weather conditions
