About The Position

Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace, MI is looking to hire a full-time Finisher to join our production team. We are a privately-owned full-service designer and manufacturer of blending and convey equipment for the plastics industry. We have state-of-the-art fabrication, machining, and panel-building facilities in Wallace. With representatives throughout the country, we are growing and committed to providing the best products and services that can be customized to meet our customers' unique needs. Requirements

  • Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
  • Read and interpret basic parts drawings
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Complete training to become forklift certified within 30 days
  • Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Finishing experience with wet and/or powder coat paint

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of finishing processes including blasting, powder coating, polishing, and occasional wet coat painting on metal parts/surfaces.
  • Take care of the equipment used, including cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Work with various materials and be responsible to safely label, store, and dispose of those substances.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools during the finishing process.
  • Operate a forklift and perform basic maintenance to move equipment to/from other departments.
  • Support the 'Safety Always' motto by monitoring equipment and materials to ensure safe operation while following safety procedures.
