Requirements

7+ years of residential HVAC experience, including leadership or lead-tech responsibilities
Strong technical background in gas furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and controls
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and hold technicians accountable
Solid understanding of diagnostics, airflow, electrical systems, refrigeration, and combustion
EPA certification required
Strong organizational and decision-making skills
Clear, professional communicator—calm under pressure
Customer-first mindset with high emotional intelligence
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Supervise and support residential HVAC service and installation technicians in the field
Conduct ride-alongs, jobsite visits, and performance evaluations
Ensure work meets code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and Oceanside Services’ quality standards
Provide real-time coaching, technical guidance, and troubleshooting support
Address callbacks, escalations, and customer concerns with a solutions-focused mindset
Reinforce safety practices, proper procedures, and professional conduct
Coordinate with dispatch, management, and leadership to optimize workflow and productivity
Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new technicians
Lead by example—technically, professionally, and culturally
