Requirements

5+ years of commercial HVAC experience — rooftop units, splits, VRF, and Liebert systems strongly preferred
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a field or facilities capacity
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system commissioning skills
Ability to manage technician schedules, support quoting, and coach junior team members
EPA Universal Certification required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Proficiency with work order systems, CMMS platforms, or similar tools
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Comfortable working part-field / part-office and fulfilling administrative responsibilities

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and mentor field HVAC technicians on commercial jobsites
Support quoting, light project coordination, and communication with the office team
Troubleshoot and service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, VRF systems, and Liebert units
Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are upheld in the field at all times
Oversee technician scheduling and work assignments in coordination with dispatch
Maintain equipment and materials; monitor tool condition and usage
Represent the company professionally in all customer communications and on-site discussions
Provide performance feedback; assist in hiring, training, and evaluating field technicians
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive/predictive maintenance activities
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and office staff on project execution
