Requirements

  • Previous residential HVAC installation experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, local codes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable using mobile technology and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Lead Installers, Install Assistants, and Apprentices through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Conduct ride-alongs and provide hands-on field support to ensure quality workmanship and continuous development.
  • Perform job audits, quality inspections, and installation reviews to maintain company standards.
  • Review sold jobs to ensure equipment, materials, permits, and contracts are accurate before installation begins.
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality metrics while partnering with leadership to achieve department goals.
  • Resolve installation-related customer concerns professionally and promptly to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and all applicable local codes.
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, and Warehouse teams to ensure installations are completed efficiently.
  • Serve as the department leader in the absence of the Installation Manager.
