About The Position

Lakeshore Sport & Fitness is seeking an organized and reliable In-house maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. This role will be responsible for the general upkeep of four large health club facilities (over 160,000 square feet each). The primary focus will be on HVAC systems, but the technician will also perform a variety of semi-skilled building maintenance, general labor, and light repair tasks. The candidate will work with the maintenance manager to order materials and plan work, and must be willing to interact positively with clientele. Member service is a top priority in this open and operating facility. Initiative, responsibility, and pro-activity are essential to keep work on track, and all assigned tasks will be related to maintenance and operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service or building engineering.
• Ability to communicate effectively with membership and staff.
• Electrical experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Specific knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems is a plus.
• Tech school or higher education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities will be HVAC.
• Perform a wide variety of semi-skilled building maintenance, general labor and light repair tasks.
• Perform any related duties as required.
• Works with the maintenance manager to order materials, schedule and plan work.
• Deal with clientele regularly and with a smile.
