About The Position

Finney Hospitality Group (FHG) is seeking a skilled HVAC & Facilities Maintenance Technician for a full-time, multi-location role. This is a mobile position where you will travel between FHG restaurant locations to troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure restaurants operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has HVAC experience and certification, is comfortable with general facility repairs, and enjoys variety, independent work, and being on the move.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HVAC, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, commercial maintenance, or a related field
  • HVAC certification required
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building maintenance
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to identify root causes and develop effective, lasting solutions
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple maintenance requests
  • Willing and able to travel regularly between FHG restaurant locations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with commercial maintenance work

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Section 608 Certification preferred
  • Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or other multi-site commercial maintenance experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Travel regularly between FHG restaurant locations based on maintenance and operational needs
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment
  • Perform preventative HVAC maintenance, including filters, belts, coils, thermostats, and other system components
  • Troubleshoot and complete general building and restaurant maintenance repairs
  • Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, fixtures, doors, hardware, and other facility needs
  • Diagnose equipment issues and determine whether repairs can be completed internally or require an outside vendor
  • Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work based on urgency, safety, and impact on restaurant operations
  • Complete preventative maintenance inspections and identify concerns before they become larger problems
  • Communicate repair status, timelines, and outstanding needs with restaurant leadership and the FHG Maintenance team
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, repairs, parts, and outstanding maintenance needs
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are required
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies needed to complete assigned work
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable codes and regulations
  • Support emergency or after-hours maintenance needs when necessary
