About The Position
A long -standing HVAC company is hiring an HVAC Design Engineer to plan and develop efficient, high -performing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In this role, you’ll handle system design from start to finish, including load calculations, equipment selection, and creating detailed drawings and specifications. You’ll collaborate with sales, project management, and field teams to ensure designs are practical, cost -effective, and meet code requirements. The position also involves providing technical support during installation, conducting energy analysis, and recommending system improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem -solving, working across teams, and contributing to efficient, well -designed HVAC solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Several years of HVAC design experience
- Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes and energy standards
