Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time
• Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints and specifications
• Self-motivated and organized
• Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience with HVAC/air handling units strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements for custom HVAC equipment
• Select and size components such as fans, burners, and coils to achieve the necessary performance
• Create CAD layout drawings and prepare shop drawing packages for customer approval
• Create wiring schematics to allow the equipment to operate as required
• Coordinate and execute requested changes to the design as required
• Support the manufacturing process and assist in troubleshooting any problems that occur
• Promote teamwork and good company morale, mentor and knowledge share with teammates
• Conduct yourself with the highest ethical standards
