About The Position

Requirements

  • Hands-on HVAC professional with experience in solving problems and pride in quality work.
  • Several years of experience working on commercial or industrial systems.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting a range of equipment, including chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, and related systems.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical systems, including alignment and vibration diagnostics.
  • Ability to clearly communicate system issues and solutions to teammates and customers.
  • Desire to keep learning and sharing knowledge.
  • Willingness to represent company values.
  • Universal EPA refrigerant license.
  • Open to travel as needed (50-75% of the time).
  • Participation in the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices.
  • Must be eligible for union membership as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and repairs of advanced commercial HVAC systems.
  • Full system installations.
  • Working with a wide range of equipment including chillers, compressors, pumps, rooftop units, and building automation systems.
  • Using modern tools like laser alignment and vibration analysis.
  • Serving as a trusted expert to customers, diagnosing issues, explaining solutions, and ensuring system efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborating with a team of professionals, sharing knowledge, and supporting apprentices.
  • Expanding technical knowledge through the Service Technical Academy.
  • Developing quoting or customer-facing skills (opportunity available).
