About The Position
This role is for an HVAC Construction Warehouse & Delivery Associate, with two levels described: Level I (Entry Level) and Level II (Experienced). Both levels involve essential duties and responsibilities related to warehouse operations, material handling, and delivery services within the construction industry, specifically for HVAC. Level I focuses on assisting with receiving, unloading, stocking, picking, staging, and organizing materials. It includes loading/unloading vehicles, assisting with jobsite deliveries, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, tracking materials, supporting inventory counts, and following safety procedures. This entry-level position requires 0-1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50+ lbs, basic organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. Level II is for experienced associates who can independently manage material distribution for multiple projects, perform regular deliveries and pickups, verify delivery accuracy, operate warehouse equipment (like forklifts), maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate with project teams, and assist with warehouse improvements. This level requires 2+ years of experience, knowledge of HVAC materials, and preferred forklift certification, along with strong time management and communication skills.
Requirements
- 0–1 year of warehouse, delivery, or construction support experience preferred (Level I).
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor.
- Basic organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn HVAC materials, equipment, and processes.
- 2+ years of warehouse, delivery, or construction logistics experience preferred (Level II).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC materials, tools, and equipment preferred (Level II).
- Forklift certification preferred (Level II).
- Strong time management and communication skills (Level II).
- Proven reliability and ability to work independently (Level II).
Nice To Haves
- 0–1 year of warehouse, delivery, or construction support experience (Level I).
- 2+ years of warehouse, delivery, or construction logistics experience (Level II).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC materials, tools, and equipment (Level II).
- Forklift certification (Level II).
Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking materials and equipment.
- Pick, stage, and organize materials for construction projects.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Assist with deliveries to jobsites using company vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, yard, and vehicles.
- Accurately label, track, and store materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support inventory counts and warehouse documentation.
- Assist with tool crib operations as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.
- Independently receive, stage, and distribute materials for multiple projects and warranty returns.
- Perform regular deliveries and pickups to job sites and vendors.
- Verify delivery accuracy and ensure materials match work orders and tickets.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment (as certified).
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, and service teams.
- Assist with warehouse layout improvements and workflow efficiency.
- Support training of Level I associates.
- Ensure warehouse safety, organization, and compliance standards are maintained.
