Requirements

  • EPA Universal Certification
  • 2–10 years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
  • Experience with Daikin, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, or similar systems
  • Knowledge of VRF systems, VFDs, and building automation controls
  • Comfortable mentoring or supporting less-experienced technicians
  • Solid customer service and communication skills
  • Basic technology skills (mobile apps, service documentation)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work in field conditions
  • Comfort working on rooftops, ladders, and in tight spaces
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and work for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity for electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work
  • Commitment to following all safety procedures and codes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Daikin, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, or similar systems
  • Knowledge of VRF systems, VFDs, and building automation controls
  • Comfortable mentoring or supporting less-experienced technicians

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial and light industrial HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues with RTUs, split systems, economizers, VFDs, and controls.
  • Perform start-ups, commissioning, and retrofits to improve system performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, project managers, and office staff.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Work independently while supporting and guiding junior technicians when needed.
  • Deliver quality workmanship, professionalism, and integrity every day.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and occasional overtime.
