About The Position

Pond’s is seeking a motivated, technically minded HVAC Comfort Advisor to join their team. This role goes beyond simply selling equipment; the advisor will act as a consultant for homeowners, helping them design high-efficiency systems to enhance their comfort and quality of life. The position encompasses the entire sales cycle, from initial in-home assessments and system sizing to closing deals and post-installation follow-up.

Requirements

2+ years of in-home sales experience (HVAC preferred, but solar or other in-home services are acceptable).
Mechanical aptitude: understanding of air movement in homes, basic mechanics of refrigeration and combustion, and knowledge of Manual J and Manual D protocols.
Ability to explain and educate customers on various options, their differences, and advantages.
Valid driver's license.
Clean background check.
Insurable driving record.
Clean drug screen.
Ability to navigate crawl spaces or attics if needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-home consultations, performing thorough evaluations of residential heating and cooling systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, etc.).
Perform technical sizing, including load calculations using Conduit, to ensure proper equipment and duct sizing for the home and to meet customer comfort expectations.
Recommend specialized solutions such as high-efficiency equipment, high-efficiency air filtration systems, whole-home humidifiers, and dual-fuel heat pump systems.
Generate proposals using Service Titan, presenting clear, multi-tiered options (Good, Better, Best).
Manage leads from various sources (company-generated, technician, self-generated) and provide exceptional customer service.
