HVAC & Chiller Service Technician – Data Center Instructor
About The Position
Lincoln Tech and JCI are partnering to train the next generation of data center technicians and are hiring an instructor for their Data Center Technician Apprentice Program in Houston. The apprentice-level program focuses on building strong fundamentals through hands-on learning, safety, and troubleshooting. The instructor will bring industry experience in HVAC service and troubleshooting, chillers and critical cooling, electrical systems, controls and DDC, and BAS/building automation. No teaching experience is required; industry experience is emphasized. The role is based in Houston, Texas, follows a Monday–Friday schedule, involves minimal travel, and offers a full benefits package. Requirements
- Industry experience in HVAC service and troubleshooting.
- Experience with chillers and critical cooling.
- Experience with electrical systems.
- Experience with controls and DDC.
- Experience with BAS/building automation.
