This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and adjusting building automation systems, maintaining service and repair pneumatic control system air compressors, and performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed. The role requires extensive knowledge of direct digital controls (DDC) and pneumatic control systems, as well as mechanical and electrical systems associated with HVAC systems in commercial buildings. The technician will use a variety of tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications, and will utilize a smartphone, tablet, and laptop for maintenance work order systems and timekeeping. The position also involves identifying and analyzing automation control systems at CCPS locations and seeking training opportunities to maintain technical proficiency.
