About The Position

Rycor is the largest and fastest-growing installer of heat pumps in the Northeast, expanding to multiple locations. The company offers competitive pay and benefits. They are seeking apprentices and installers to join their team, focusing on installing green energy solutions, specifically Mitsubishi ductless mini-split heat pumps. On-the-job training is provided for this position.

Responsibilities

• Properly install mounting brackets
• Properly install refrigerants of the line hide
• Properly install electrical service disconnect
• Properly secure heat pump to mounting systems
• Properly install indoor air handler
• Properly terminate electrical wires in the air handler
• Properly terminate electrical wires in the condensing unit
• Perform proper copper flaring technique
• Perform a standing leak check with nerve gas nitrogen
• Properly evacuate systems before charging with refrigerant
• Properly weigh in refrigerator two systems
• Properly work in Main electrical breaker panels
• Properly start up and commission new heat pump systems
