About The Position
Rycor (www.rycorhvac.com) is the largest and fastest growing installer of heat pumps in the Northeast, expanding with multiple new locations. The company is seeking apprentices and installers to contribute to the installation of green energy solutions, specifically focusing on Mitsubishi ductless mini split heat pumps. Experience is not required as on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Install mounting brackets
- Install refrigerants of the line hide
- Install electrical service disconnect
- Secure heat pump to mounting systems
- Install indoor air handler
- Terminate electrical wires in the air handler
- Terminate electrical wires in the condensing unit
- Perform copper flaring technique
- Perform a standing leak check with nerve gas nitrogen
- Evacuate systems before charging with refrigerant
- Weigh in refrigerator two systems
- Work in Main electrical breaker panels
- Start up and commission new heat pump systems
