HVAC Apprentice - Multifamily
About The Position
The HVAC Apprentice assists with the assembly and installation of sheet metal products, working with various tools, materials, and equipment under a supervisor’s guidance. The role contributes to precise installation through adjustments and alterations, carries out daily assignments with safety, quality, and productivity in mind, and completes trade-related training as required. The apprentice helps maintain clean, orderly tools and work areas and follows project safety plans, documentation, practices, and procedures while using required personal protective and safety equipment. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
- Basic math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Craft training is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assembling and installing sheet metal products, making adjustments and alterations as needed.
- Complete assigned daily job requirements with safety, quality, and productivity in mind.
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment and tools.
- Keep tools and work areas clean and orderly.
- Review and follow project task safety plans, documentation, practices, and procedures during the work day.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment properly and maintain their proper use.
- Complete trade-related training as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
