About The Position
Remington College is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to teach in its HVAC diploma program at the Mobile Campus. The instructor educates and trains students using approved instructional methods, prepares lessons using industry-standard approaches, evaluates student progress, and supports students’ skill development. The position reports to the Program Chair/Campus President. The posting lists a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Technical certificate and EPA certification.
- At least three years of related practical work experience in residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
- Educate and train students in the instructor’s field of expertise using accepted and approved instructional methodology.
- Prepare lesson plans using industry-standard approaches, including multimedia and adult learning methodology.
- Teach assigned courses; instruct and evaluate students; develop students’ skills and encourage growth; and track attendance, performance, and grades.
- Participate in administrative activities, including faculty/staff and in-service meetings.
- Participate in graduation ceremonies as assigned.
- Participate regularly in continuing professional development activities.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
