HVAC Apprentice – Paid Training Program Company: Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric Start your career in the HVAC industry with paid training and hands-on experience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a physically active environment
  • Lift and carry equipment up to 75–100 lbs
  • Work in attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders
  • Bend, climb, squat, and reach regularly
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Exposure to construction environments and power tools
  • Successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report (if applicable), in compliance with applicable laws.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC trade school training or mechanical experience
  • EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Prior construction or trade experience

Responsibilities

  • Complete a 4–6 month paid HVAC training program
  • Participate in classroom instruction and hands-on lab training
  • Ride along with experienced HVAC technicians
  • Complete knowledge checks and training assessments
  • Assist technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems
  • Help diagnose system issues and perform routine service
  • Assist with job site preparation, equipment setup, and cleanup
  • Transport tools, materials, and parts as needed
  • Learn HVAC troubleshooting, installation, and service procedures
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Assist with installing HVAC components such as ductwork and piping
  • Follow company safety policies and industry regulations
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
