Hunting Specialty Shop Manager
About The Position
Scheels is seeking a Hunting Specialty Shop Manager who will contribute to a culture that thrives on delivering a personalized WOW customer experience, having a team-first, winning mentality, learning and adapting to constant change, taking pride in their work and thinking like owners, and expecting honesty and integrity in all that they do. The manager will be responsible for greeting customers, checking them in and out of rooms, monitoring merchandise in fitting rooms, preparing merchandise to return to the selling floor, answering incoming calls, learning product knowledge to assist customers and partner with sales associates, answering questions about merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Associates are expected to follow all safety procedures and perform their job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, check customers in and out of rooms, while monitoring the amount of merchandise the customer has in the fitting room
- Prepares merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to the selling floor
- Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant disposition
- Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner effectively with sales associates
- Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise, and direct customers to the correct associate when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment
