About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise and assists customers with floor merchandise. The role includes greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information, assistance, and direction. Under general supervision, the employee follows established procedures while using occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and may recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Support world-class customer service and provide a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending suitable products.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise for sale at the gun counter.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
