About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms hunting and archery merchandise. The position supports sales of floor merchandise by greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information, assistance, and direction.

The role supports a productive, welcoming shopping experience by assessing customer needs, recommending products, promoting programs, demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, replenishing shelves, and staying current on product knowledge and advertised sales. The associate also assists with seasonal merchandise moves, keeps the work area clean and stocked, and follows company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of customer service and sales for non-firearms hunting and archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales support for non-firearms hunting and archery merchandise.
• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner, and handle merchandise with care.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and recommend products based on that assessment.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain merchandise in the retail store and at the non-firearms gun counter.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing training.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
