About The Position

This internship offers an opportunity to combine technical skills with big-picture thinking in Human Spaceflight. The intern will assess risk for lunar systems using physics-based modeling techniques. This role provides a chance to develop skills in modeling & simulation while gaining mentoring and experience in the Space industry, helping to turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change.

Requirements

  • Experience with mechanical design, simulation, and dynamic system modeling
  • Experience developing Graph Neural Networks and Model Predictive Control frameworks and applying to physics-based, integrated systems
  • Scheduled to obtain a master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field by Summer 2027

Nice To Haves

  • Experience applying machine learning (ML) to solve engineering problems with modern ML frameworks, such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
  • Experience programming in Python, NVIDIA Warp, or C++

Responsibilities
