About The Position

This is a temporary position with the Office of State Human Resources (OSHR) Temporary Solutions. The role is located at 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC - Wake County, within the Department of Health and Human Services - MH/DD/SAS. The position offers an hourly rate of $39.00, based on education and/or years of relevant work experience. Temporary employees may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) if they work an average of 30 or more hours per week. This role provides exposure to an agency's culture, processes, and procedures, offering potential learning opportunities for those seeking permanent state employment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in public or human service administration or human services programmatic field from an appropriately accredited institution, and three years of human service experience, two of which must have been in human services program planning; OR Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution, and five years of progressive administrative or consultative experience in a human service program, two of which must have been in human service program planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (for Planner role).
  • Master's degree in the field of psychology, sociology, or social work from an appropriately accredited institution, and three years of experience in research and evaluation, using statistical methodologies in human service programs; OR Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution, and five years of experience in research, evaluation and statistical application in the human service field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (for Evaluator role).
  • Fully qualified for the job.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the NC CSRS team with responding to requests.
  • Develop informational and educational materials, including information sheets, PowerPoints, and templates.
  • Assist with delivering trainings and webinars through virtual platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager.
