Requirements

• Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Southwest Region which includes Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties by the time of hire.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of personal care homes to determine compliance with state laws and regulations
• Investigate complaints and incidents to identify compliance issues and determine needed actions
• Assist in relocating residents from noncompliant homes to appropriate living arrangements
• Monitor plans of correction to determine appropriate time frames for administrative fines
• Work with state, local, and private agencies to obtain information related to compliance matters
• Provide testimony in administrative and court hearings regarding inspection findings
