Requirements

• One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Review statewide Medical Assistance policies and assess how they align with state and federal requirements
• Analyze program operations and recommend methods to resolve issues
• Develop procedures, standards, and policy materials needed for program implementation
• Research and evaluate information used to create or revise policy documents
• Review materials from other agencies to ensure accuracy and compliance with Medical Assistance Program standards
• Prepare reports and materials used to explain policy impacts and support decision making
