About The Position

This role gives you the chance to support important programs that help improve services for youth and families. You will work with policies, data, and technology to strengthen daily operations. Your efforts help create better outcomes across the system. This position focuses on analyzing programs, reviewing policies, and guiding improvements that support the Bureau of Juvenile Justice Services (BJJS) and its facilities. The role involves working with data, technology, and teams to strengthen operations and ensure effective use of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.

Requirements

  • One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Policy Analysis: Review legislation and regulations to assess program impact and advise on implementation strategies
  • Program Evaluation: Examine program operations, identify issues, and recommend policy updates for greater efficiency
  • System Monitoring: Evaluate EHR performance, analyze data, and recommend improvements based on findings
  • Technical Coordination: Serve as liaison with information technology partners, manage user access, and address technical issues related to the EHR
  • User Support: Provide troubleshooting, training materials, and guidance for staff using EHR systems
  • Record Oversight: Track devices, manage security permissions, and maintain logs to protect system integrity
