About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provides such direct services as counseling, psychotherapy, education, crisis intervention, case management services, etc. 2. Documents all service-related activities, including time spent per activity per client, mileage accrued, charting, staff notes, etc. 3. Participates in supervision and/or professional development activities. 4. Participates in Quality Improvement or SCS-wide activities. The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this job description. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Special Education, or Human Services.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited Master’s program in Social Work, Psychology, or Clinal Mental Health Counselor.
  • Three to six months of volunteer work or structured, experiential learning (e.g., practicum or learning lab) in field of behavioral health or developmental disabilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of mental health, chemical dependency or developmental disability issues.
  • May require driver's license.
