About The Position

Deliver Division specific support around talent and workforce management, execution of core HR processes, coaching, labor relations and other critical HR priorities. Analyzes data such as turnover, engagement, hiring, and other metrics to provide training and coaching to Operations. Builds and maintains relationships by developing an understanding of the strategies, business operations; attending Operation meetings; assisting in preparation of presentations; answering questions; explaining policies and procedures. Coaches, communicates values, strategies, and objectives. Plan, monitor and appraise job results; foster a climate conducive for offering information and opinions; provides educational opportunities. Understands and utilizes succession planning processes and works with Ops teams on succession plans, IDPs and provides recommendations and development opportunities. Participates in hiring/promotion/development of MITs, SMs, DMTs and C2C candidates. Ensure integrity of the Store Manager in Training (MIT) Program by providing MIT Mentors with guidelines and expectations; evaluating MIT Mentor performance; reporting progress and making performance-based recommendations on MITs and MIT Mentors to Regional Operations Directors and District Managers. Conduct classroom training for Store Manager and District Managers. Updates and develops materials and administers in-store and classroom training for Store Operations employees. Responsible for responses to employment related civil actions, federal agency charges and employee complaints by leading/conducting investigations, maintaining documentation and partnering with HRD and/or legal counsel. Communicate both in writing and verbally with prosecuting agencies and attorneys as needed. Resolve manager and employee dissatisfaction by investigating complaints and concerns; evaluating and offering courses of action; providing advice, guidance, and direction. Ensure compliance with requirements, policies, and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental laws and regulations, advising management on needed actions. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying and reviewing existing and new laws; auditing and enforcing adherence to requirements; rendering opinions; advising management on needed actions. Represent the organization by obtaining, clarifying, and verifying documentation of situations; meeting with government representatives which includes attending hearings and/or mediation; studying and resolving complaints; recommending remedies. Maintain compliance on employment and Workers Compensation matters by adhering to governmental laws and regulations. Attend General Liability and employment related mediations. Analyze special projects; summarize information; identify trends, render opinions, and make recommendations to the HRD and RDO on needed actions. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
