Requirements

  • Related coursework beyond high school preferred.
  • Experience in HR or similar administrative roles is highly valued.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related software, with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Adept at handling sensitive situations with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to engage effectively with various audiences.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment while also being a self-starter capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Assist employees and applicants by addressing inquiries and referring more complex matters to senior HR staff.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Perform technical and administrative tasks across various HR functional areas, including compensation, benefits, recruiting, and compliance.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and files, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support Recruiting Efforts: Assist with onboarding processes, and applicant tracking systems to streamline hiring processes.
  • Coordinate Benefits Administration: Aid in open enrollment, tuition reimbursement programs, and auditing of benefits records.
  • Manage HR Data and Reporting: Research, compile, and analyze HR data to prepare accurate reports and reconcile discrepancies.
