As a Human Resources - Talent Engagement & Development Intern at Dollar Tree, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn about the critical functions that enhance the capabilities and satisfaction of our corporate associates. You will sit with both the Talent Engagement and Talent Development teams, supporting initiatives that impact the entire organization. Under the guidance and mentorship of experienced HR professionals, your role will involve: Assisting with the coordination and logistics of corporate training and development programs, such as leadership development workshops or new hire training. Contributing to the development of career pathing and performance management resources. Researching and summarizing HR best practices in areas like employee retention, organizational design, and learning technology to provide recommendations to the team. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable insights into the HR function within a large retail corporation and prepare you for a successful career. At the end of the program, each intern will be responsible for a presentation centered on what they learned and a real-world challenge/opportunity they helped to solve.
