About The Position

Under the direction of the Senior Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Summer Student will support day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment and onboarding activities. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, providing exposure to core HR functions and opportunities to contribute to key projects while building practical skills for a career in Human Resources. This is a term position from May 1, 2026, and ending August 31, 2026

Requirements

Previous administrative, office, or customer service experience is considered an asset
Exposure to HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, or employee records) is an asset
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business Administration, or related post-secondary program
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a diverse team environment
Proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations, including document preparation, filing, and email correspondence
Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, screening coordination, and candidate communication
Support onboarding activities by preparing orientation packages and assisting with new hire orientations
Maintain accurate and organized employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned
