About The Position

The Human Resources and Risk Management department is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join their team. This role involves administering various functions within assigned areas, including collecting and analyzing statistical data, maintaining specialized databases, inputting and retrieving data, and producing reports. The specialist will also be responsible for creating and maintaining common departmental and confidential employee records in compliance with legal requirements, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the role requires providing customer service to employees, management, applicants, and other internal and external customers. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Administers functions within assigned area which include but are not limited to: collecting and analyzing statistical data; maintaining specialized databases, inputting and retrieving data, and producing routine and ad hoc computer reports; creating, preparing and maintaining common departmental and confidential employee records in accordance with requirements of county, state and federal laws, rules and regulations, policies and procedures; creating and/or reconciling reports.
  • Provides customer service to employees, management, applicants, and other customers, both internal and external.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
