Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance
  • Proficient in HRIS platforms (Workday experience preferred) & Google Workspace applications (including Gmail, Chat, Sheets, and Docs)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to effectively prioritize
  • Polished interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations and information with discretion, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Comfortable with being at the forefront of change; and supports continual improvements
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships across the organization at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Manage new hire onboarding and orientation, including processing new hire paperwork, verifying I-9 documentation, coordinating IT setup, and supporting orientation delivery for new employees.
  • Process and maintain employee lifecycle changes within HR and operational systems, including promotions, transfers, and other employment actions.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity by preparing and analyzing reports, managing employee records (including compensation, personal information, and leave data), and ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular audits of employment records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support and perform tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; corrective action and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and engagement; and training and development.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and practices, assisting with employment verifications, responding to basic benefits and policy questions, and managing HR inboxes to route or resolve requests appropriately.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities and events, including team meetings, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, training sessions, and other engagement efforts. Maintains intranet content to ensure timely, accurate communication about events and initiatives.
  • Provide offboarding support to existing employees, including collecting exit interview data, providing offboarding information, coordinating equipment return, and transacting terminations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to policies, systems, and workflows. Analyze business processes and participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
