About The Position

This is an exciting internship opportunity at Xcel Energy within the HR Shared Services areas. The intern will work as an entry-level coordinator, performing tasks that support Human Resources operations. The role offers exposure to multiple HR areas including Leave Administration, the HR Service Center, HR Operations, and a light introduction to Payroll. Through practical operations experience and mentoring, the successful candidate will gain significant professional confidence and people skills. Requirements

  • Current student, Freshman status or higher
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or similar
  • Interest in HR, HR Courses
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable with multiple systems
