Providing human resources generalist support, the Human Resources Representative will be responsible for effectively meeting the HR functional needs of both field and corporate leadership, while helping to provide a positive work environment for around 200 employees at a single facility (located in Cranbury, NJ). Requirements

• BA or BS degree
• 1+ years of HR administration experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Comfort communicating with members at all levels of the organization
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift/move 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional and respectful HR activities, handling the vital aspects that keep our business compliant and our employees taken care of.
• Act as a sympathetic problem solver who can be there for employees and help them work through various situations and concerns.
• Lead effective recruitment efforts across multiple locations (including attending career fairs), helping bring new talent to the team by performing applicant sourcing, screening, interviewing, and pre-employment tests.
• Lead orientation, clearly explain benefit plans, and collaborate with management to conduct required safety and operational training.
• Answer questions, communicate company policies, and help investigate/resolve concerns if needed.
• Assist employees with payroll issues, workers' compensation, control claims, and additional problems if they come up.
• Maintain accurate, compliant records (OSHA, DOT, employment, etc.).
• Assist with other responsibilities as needed to maintain a comfortable and productive environment.
