The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Human Resources Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Provides human resources advice and consults with leadership team to set short-term strategic direction and operating plans for a typically small to medium complex market/manufacturing operation. Ensures compliance with human resources policies and procedures. This position is part of the Plant Leadership Team. Must be able to build rapport with all levels of the organization and establish trust and credibility with the plant population. Provides guidance and influence to plant leadership team, direct reports as well as to employees throughout the organization. This position also requires skills in problem solving, performance management, forecasting, short- and long-range planning as well as conflict resolution and employee relations. Human Capital Planning (HCP): Partner with the division and functional leaders and HR business partners in the development and implementation of key HCP initiatives at the division and business group level, including succession management and talent career mapping/advancement. Performance Management: Lead the facilitation of high-level management team reviews (MTRs). Counsel and coach plant operating committee members in performance management processes. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Six (6) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Prior employee relations experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • SPHR or PHR certification
  • Experience in manufacturing HR practices
  • Proven track record of delivering strong results
  • Possess strong business acumen
  • Able to work in a challenging environment
