About The Position

CASA is searching for a dynamic HR Manager to create and maintain the HR function within the organization. The successful HR Manager candidate will create and maintain a strategic HR function for CASA, provide consistent HR tracking and reporting practices, and establish HR compliance and operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency across employees/organization. They will also develop an internal compensation structure including job titles, job descriptions, and salary bands, as well as a training and employee development strategy to meet the needs and growth of all employees. Additionally, the role involves establishing HR compliance training (interviewing do’s and don’ts, Workplace laws, annual management harassment training), developing a robust new employee orientation program, creating a comprehensive DEI plan in partnership with CASA’s DE&I Team, evaluating CASA HRIS programs to determine options to use one platform, overseeing I-9 records, updating the existing Employee Handbook, and engaging in proactive employee relations across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 10 plus years’ professional experience in a strategic and hands on HR role (small company/organization preferred)
  • Strong general knowledge of employment law, employee onboarding, training & development, and overall HR best practices
  • Effective oral, written, and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively influence and confidentially interact with all employees
  • Performs role responsibilities in a way that is consistent with CASA values and principles
  • Leads by example consistently modeling high standards of performance, honesty, inclusivity, and confidentiality
  • Ability to demonstrate strong work ethic and personal integrity
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships by listening, understanding, and responding to identified needs
